Stephen Harper attends opening of London's new Air Cargo Facility 
A gateway for goods and catalyst for over 150 jobs in London was opened by Prime Minister Steven Harper last week. The London International Airport’s new Air Cargo facility was born out of a federal investment of $8 million with the City of London investing $2.5 million. The Air Cargo Terminal is part of a joint venture between the City of London and the London International Airport to develop 200 acres of land into the “Skyway Industrial Park”. This will include airport land servicing, taxiway expansion and the Air Cargo facility, which will allow the airport to capture an opportunity to become an international trade centre that facilitates international transportation, enhanced competitiveness for regional business, and new employment.
